I Heart Wednesdays

Wednesday has become one of my favorite days.

I have the day off from work and school.

I do our grocery shopping, run errands, do laundry, clean, bake, and then cook supper.

Heaven, I tell you!

To me, there is nothing better than taking care of our home.

I love having the laundry done and supper ready for Bryan when he gets home from work. Tonight he got home just as I was finishing up the meal. I told him how much I love doing all of that "homey" stuff. He called me crazy. I wish I could do this all the time. I was meant to be a homemaker and stay at home mom, that is the job that I am drawn to! I keep telling Bryan that ;)

On a side note, I made some changes to our fall decor! I added some white gourds and pumpkins to the end table. I like this look alot better! My best friend brought me the gourds and the pretty light orange pumpkin back from the country living fair...thanks Elly! Then, Bryan brought me flowers home last night! How sweet, right?!

Ranbir, Katrina's love a promotional gimmick: Salman

There have been lots of hide and seek play when it comes to the alleged relationship between Kapoor Khandan's youngest charm Ranbir Kapoor and the beautiful actress Katrina Kaif. Now, there is a buzz that the couple is going to make their relation public by making a formal announcement. The love birds have reportedly decided to declare their stand in public about the relationship. If sources are to be believed then Ranbir will follow the path of his cousin sexy star Kareena Kapoor and will announce his love for Katrina during the ongoing promotion of his upcoming movie Anjaana Anjaani. Ranbir had earlier been involved with another Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone, who has decided to move on and has already chosen another partner. But Katrina's ex Salman Khan is yet to digest the fact that his lady love has left him to opt for much younger guy Ranbir Kapoor. The Dabangg star still thinks that the much talked relationship is nothing but a promotional gimmick for their movie. The news has been confirmed by a source, who was quoted saying that Salman considers it to be a promotional gimmick and nothing more. The actor thinks that it started when Katrina acted with Ranbir in Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahaani and the rumor was made stronger with Rajneeti. However, the reports suggest that Ranbir and Katrina are in a romantic relationship for more than a year now and they prefer to meet each other at their houses to avoid public gossip. A source close to Ranbir was quoted saying that the couple is very much in love. Katrina has met almost all his relatives, who have approved her and the best part is that his parents Rishi and Neetu also like her, the source added. Katrina reportedly visits Ranbir's Bandra home often whenever Ranbir is out of town. It seems the girl is trying to be a perfect daughter-in-law of the Kapoor family. Well, only time will disclose what's in their mind and heart, we can just wait and watch till then!

I may or may not have done that with these boots. (I ended up with the 1st pair!)

I brought them in the house, tore the price tag off the side of the box, and shoved them in the top shelf of my closet. 

I planned on leaving them there until we got our engagment pictures taken...but this Saturday was perfect, chilly, fall weather, and I had to wear them.

Him: Ooh..you look good. (while giving me "that look")

Me: Thanks!

Him: Where did those come from? (eyeing the boots)

Me: Oh, I don't know...

Him: How much did you spend on them?

Me: I don't know...hey, can you get your leather protector stuff?

Him: It must have been alot of you are taking the time to protect them.

Tusshar denies Ekta & he have parted ways professionally

Has Tusshar Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor decided to part ways professionally? At least that's what a section of the media would like us to believe. Reportedly, Tusshar has floated his production company and is planning to make films independently. But the actor denies it outright. "I have no immediate plans to start a film or float a production company," he says.

So how did this rumour originate? "It all started when a journo asked if I would like to turn producer some day and I said, yes, why not? The next thing I know, rumours that I am branching out independently have started doing the rounds of the industry. There's no truth to it, please," Tusshar says. Okay, noted!

Gone are the days when every second film-maker would cast a successful pair in a love story, to capitalize on their popularity. The actors never complained either, for they felt that the success of their previous film together would rub off on the new one as well. But times have changed, actors are keen to work with co-stars they haven't worked with earlier.

Imran Khan and Deepika Padukone have been teamed for the first time in BREAK KE BAAD, produced by Reliance Big Pictures and Kunal Kohli and directed by debutant Danish Aslam. The first thing you notice in a love story [yes, BREAK KE BAAD is a prem kahani] is, how good does the pair look together and I must say, Imran and Deepika look incredible together and the chemistry comes across very well.

The second thing you notice in a love story is the romance quotient, which, of course, one can't judge by watching merely the promo of the film, but if the promo is a gist of the content, yes, the film seems like a pucca love story that's aimed at the youth. Imran looks great and Deepika, gorgeous. Here's a film and jodi to look forward to.

The first promo of BREAK KE BAAD will be launched in cineplexes on 1st October. Lyricist Prasoon Joshi and music composers Vishal-Shekhar come together for this album, which will be released by T-Series in mid-October.
